Meow Orb

Problem

Visitors to Convergence Station tend to only scratch the surface of the exhibit's narrative by physically being there and there are a lot of possibilities for extending the narrative after they complete their visit with the gift shop.

Solution

The Meow Orb is a smart light with an audio experience that pairs with an app to immerse users in different "scenes" inspired by the Meow Wolf exhibit.

‍Insights‍

• Many visitors wanted to see exhibit because it looked fun whereas others enjoyed the hidden storyline and wanted to delve deeper into the story
• Both types of visitors enjoyed the immersive lights, atmosphere, and music but didn't see many options to purchase items with these qualities in the gift shop
• Over-crowdedness resulted in some patrons not knowing about the interactive quest experience at Convergence Station
