Problem

Our team approached the project with a fundraising lens, focusing on the theme of "slowing down." We aimed to change the perception of CicLAvia being just a bike event and find opportunities for fundraising.

Insight

Ciclavia faces challenges in fundraising with several avenues, including the Street Star program, which, despite its simplicity, lacks recognition among attendees. Moreover, there is a noticeable absence of donation outreach at events. Exploring potential CSR partnerships with corporations in Los Angeles could significantly enhance fundraising efforts.

Solution

We designed a solution that is customized to attract and encourage new donors. Our approach involves creating a tool kit in the form of a pitch deck and a research system for CicLAvia that can be used to engage with interested potential partners. Our strategy is to use storytelling to bridge the gap between fundraising and community connectedness.

Project Overview

P.O.S.E. is a modular system that leverages A.I. tools, like ChatGPT and Bing Image Creator, to help CicLAvia reach potential sponsors by assisting them to visualize what it could look like at a CicLAvia event.
