Gazer

Project Description

Gazer empowers independent film makers from under represented groups, by providing them with a platform to share their content that also affords them the ability to connect with their audience.

Problem

This 2 day sprint was for a Netflix/Adobe creative jam. I was tasked with designing a third party app where a community can celebrate shared stories.

Insights

Inspired by the DIY spirit of other streaming services like Kanopy, Soundcloud and independent film festivals like Sundance, we arrived at a concept that would allow content creators direct access to the communities and patrons who were viewing their content.

Solutions

Gazer is a platform that elevates the voices of independent content creators from marginalized groups such as members of the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities.
