Project Description

A modular train case that compliments short trips, daily use, and storage. Created a digital companion that helps users stay organized by keeping track of their products along with recommendations for new products based on preferences

Problem

Train cases, favored by frequent travelers and makeup enthusiasts, present several challenges for users. Delicate products are susceptible to damage, leading to spillage issues. Makeup brushes and tools often face the risk of becoming dirty and contaminated within the case. Additionally, the dimensions of these cases can be misleading, causing potential difficulties for users.

Insights

Through both field and desk research, our concentration was on obtaining insights that enhance the user experience. This involves facilitating seamless organization and storage of products, ensuring simplicity in the cleaning process, and the use of DIY and smaller bags and compartments to enable users to compartmentalize and maintain the cleanliness of their items.

Solutions

An modular train case designed with additional padding and compartments to accommodate a diverse range of makeup products. It features a dedicated section for brushes and smaller detachable bags that securely attach with magnets, providing users with the flexibility to use them individually and easily compartmentalize their belongings.
